Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) is a parking safety system that prevents the vehicle from colliding into obstacles approaching from the side when the driver attempts to pull out the vehicle in reverse by warning the driver and controlling the vehicle’s braking function.

RCCA uses its rear corner radars to compute the relative position and speed of any obstacles approaching from the side. If it anticipates a collision with an obstacle, the system warns the driver with visual and audible alarms while engaging the vehicle’s brakes to prevent the collision.

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA)

Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) is a parking safety system that prevents the vehicle from colliding with pedestrians or nearby obstacles when the driver parks the vehicle or exits a parking spot, as well as when the vehicle is traveling at low speeds, by warning the driver and controlling the vehicle’s braking function.

PCA uses its rear view camera and rear ultrasonic sensors to compute the relative position and speed of any nearby obstacles. If it anticipates a collision with an obstacle, the system warns the driver with visual and audible alarms while engaging the vehicle's brakes to prevent the collision.

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA)

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) is a parking convenience system that reduces driver burden when parking the vehicle or exiting from a parking spot by parking or maneuvering the vehicle using remote control with the driver standing outside of the vehicle. 

RSPA uses front, side and rear ultrasonic sensors to identify an available parking spot. It uses its front, side and rear ultrasonic sensors to park the vehicle while avoiding nearby obstacles by controlling the steering, acceleration, deceleration and gear-changing functions. After getting off the vehicle, using the Smart key, driver can use remote control of forward and backward movement.
